Posted on Aug 05, 2013

Lynne Curtin, a former star on The Real Housewives of Orange County, is allegedly facing tax problems, according to TMZ. Ms. Curtin starred on the hit reality show in 2008 and left the series in 2010. The IRS is allegedly claiming that Ms. Curtin owes the government just over $32,000 for tax year 2009.

The IRS has allegedly issued a tax lien on some of Ms. Curtin’s property because of the tax debt. Ms. Curtin reportedly separated from her husband of 22 years in 2012. Her husband is not said to be listed on the tax lien. Ms. Curtin is asking for spousal support, according to TMZ. It has also been reported that Ms. Curtin had financial troubles while she was on The Real Housewives of Orange County.

A representative for Ms. Curtin allegedly told the media that Ms. Curtin is unaware of the tax lien and that she is having her attorneys look into the matter.
